Animated .gif’s are still in use because of their tiny file size and compatibility with seemingly every browser, so you don’t need the Flash plugin installed to view them. If you ever wanted to create an animated GIF but didn’t have the software or know how, then you should check out this website I just stumbled upon called gifninja. It allows you to upload a short video clip ( like 4MB max size ) or a series of 5 images. You then click the “make my gif” button and it creates an animated gif for you! Then you can simply right click the new gif and save it, or drag it to your desktop to save it. NICE! Visit Gifninja.com

Have you recently upgraded your flash player on your computer to version 10? Are you unable to view your favorite websites since the upgrade? You are not alone….
Since the release of Flash Player 10 I have read many accounts of a website not working after the user upgrades their flash player. You can visit the Adobe Flash Player 10 discussion forum for some examples. This could be due to the fact that the flash movie was published in an older version and now that is not compatible with the new player. If this is the case, then the flash movie must be published in a newer version for it to function properly in the new player.
Another reason could be components used throughout the flash file are not compatible with the new player. This was the case with the Camp Woodward websites I developed, which required updating some components used in the website for it to load in the Flash Player 10.
I can only imagine how many sites must be modified/updated to work with the new flash player. So will these same problems arise with the release of Flash Player 11? I definitely don’t doubt it!
